Positive impacts of COVID-19

Positive impacts of COVID-19

we are being too negative about the pandemic. We including the media must not be too critical of it.
Although COVID19 cannot be called a blessing in disguise but surely it can be said that it had some positive vibes to spread too.

TEMPERATURE CHANGE

Firstly, can we all notice the delibrate climate changes??
Yes!!! the pandemic had a lasting effect on mother nature. The shutting of workplaces, industries and factories has prevented their operations and eventually pulled the plunger against the rising advent of global warming.

IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY BONDING

In a world where social media has increased physical distances, social distancing has led people to actually come closer especially families.

THE CORONA SOLUTION

COVID 19 or the novel Corona Virus Disease 19 has become a cause of great worry for countries across the globe.  As of April 14, the global death toll surpassed 126,000 amid more than 1.9 million cases. More than 494,000 people have recovered from the disease worldwide, according to the data collected by the Johns Hopkins University in the United States.

Taking the above reasons into account the pandemic is indeed a great cause of worry for a country as india.

Thus the indian government has decided to implement a complete lockdown all over the country.
So far the decision turns out to be a great success as the number of cases in India are far less than that of some of the most developed countries of the world.

But the question arises that is it a complete solution the problem????

      Why was the lockdown necessary??

  • INDIA is a land of many cultures, religions and believes where each cult has its own believes and preachings. These call for social gatherings and religious congregations in huge volumes. So a lockdown was necessary to curb it out.
  • With about 450 people per sq. Km our country is one of the most densely populated in the world. So a lockdown was again important to tackle it it out.
Untill a vaccine for this disease is finally out, it is absolutely necessary to break the chain of transmission of this dreadly virus where its incubation period of virus is 14 days at most.

A lockdown can be seen as a good instrument to tackle the problem but it cannot be seen as a complete solution to the problem.
By and large it has fairly been a successful tool in curbing the pandemic.
